Easy Almond Butter Banana Muffins

I am SQUEALING over these super simple, healthy & delicious breakfast muffins! Plus they’re packed with protein, and you can make a quick version that will be a nice treat for your dog!

What really impressed me, is that they’re nice and fluffy. Not dense like some flour-less muffins I have had. They’re truly delicious! You’re going to want to add these to your weekly meal plans.

What you should know about the dog version:

Use an almond butter without any additives…think all natural and organic!

These are meant to be treats. It is okay for dogs to have bananas, but because of the naturally occurring sugar they should  only have them in moderation.

What you need to know about the version for you and the rest of your family:

This recipe is easily modified to fit  your taste. I have quite a sweet tooth, so I added a bit of molasses & topped it with some dark chocolate chips. If you’re used to less sugar in your diet, the bananas will sweeten it enough! I also love lot’s of flavor so I added some cinnamon and fresh ginger…and I think they were just perfect that way, but feel free to omit those ingredients.
