“People give compliments like, “Oh, you are a rockstar! I don’t know how you do it!”  but you don’t really believe them. Sometimes, just turn on the music, get in the moment and enjoy it. You should feel like a rockstar, you are one!”

“All moms are geniuses. You constantly have to think of creative ways to keep the kids entertained, creative ways to avoid crisis, you always have to be faster and smarter than them, in a good way!  If your kids don’t like veggies, you have to find a creative way to get them to enjoy them, without causing a fight. Sometimes my brain fees like it’s only full of diapers and dora the explorer, but all moms are geniuses.”
