Welcome Rose Natalia | Lifestyle | Newborn Session
Next post
I get goosebumps thinking about it. Almost four years ago, I was sitting in my living room playing with my little tot, when my cell phone rang. On the other end was a soft voice inquiring about booking a maternity session with me. A young woman, new to San Antonio, pregnant with her first and looking for a photographer. We scheduled a meeting, and I went on about my day. That meeting came around, and I can still remember sitting and chatting with her over a hot cup of coffee. What if I could have known then, that we would share 100’s more cups of coffee together, that we would become best friends, that our daughters would be best friends, and that I would get to photograph her 1st, 2nd, 3rd newborn baby girl? I’m glad we don’t get to peek ahead at our lives. It’s more fun to live each day to it’s fullest, seeing what surprises it brings and what gifts will come. It gives me chills! Imagine, you never know which day your new favorite person is going to walk into your life.
Speaking of not being able to look ahead and see what each day will bring… imagine being 41 & 1/2 weeks pregnant, and still having no idea when your baby will come! Every single day could be the day you will meet your new greatest love. For Jon & Gabriella and many of their friends, the last two weeks leading up to Rosie’s birth were very hard to remain patient. But this sweet girl wasn’t meant to come until she was good and ready, and not a day sooner.
Rosie arrived on October 19th, and of course was worth every moment of waiting. I’m so happy for, and proud of my dear friends who welcomed Rose right in there own home.
I can’t put into words how much I am looking forward to getting to snuggle this baby, take many photographs of her, watch her grow, and get to know this new wonderful person. I can’t help but wonder which big sister she will take after the most. One thing I know for certain is, she will be surrounded by love every moment of her life.
For now, Rose has the two best cuddle givers any baby could want. Soon, she will learn what great playmates they are.
Dear Rose, you have been blessed with the most wonderful parents in the world. But remember to be gentle on them, they are outnumbered now and have quite the houseful.
Celia looks like she is still not too sure about this “big sister” thing, but she still adores her baby regardless or her change in status.
